Define community, are you talking about the community of paying customers or are you talking about the BBS community? They are two different sets of people. The benefit to the paying community is that they receive a perk, they can post in the members only forum room where the none paying community can't. The non-paying community can continue the use all the other forum rooms as they currently do, unchanged. The benefit, all the posts in the members only room come from paying members, those players with a vested interested in seeing AH be as successful as possible. The wines, grips, and suggestions in the members only forum room would be coming from the people that are paying the bills at AH and are the only reason that all the other forum rooms on the AH BBS and the game exists.
I'm talking about the Aces High community at large. Those that subscribe but don't have a BBS account, those that subscribe and only read the BBS, those that subscribe and post, and those that only have a BBS account.
This is something we share, and all have in common, whether or not we can play. Some of my friends are on deployment right now, and don't maintain an account when they don't use it. Should their voice be muffled simply because they're serving their countries?
