People keep saying the game is dead. While it seems true that it's no longer where it was at it's peak the decline of AH has been discussed since the very beginning. I've compiled a partial list of things people have attributed the decline of AH to over the years (I'm sure I missed a lot):

Bomb****s
Channel 200
"Cheaters"
Chess Piece Loyalty

I just have to shake my head every time I see another analysis of the decline of AH. It's a wonder anyone even plays.
And every time we get the inevitable "HT, I demand a fix or I'm taking my ball and going!" or at least a "The end is near" prediction. In fact, the end has been near for about a dozen years now which begs the question; HT, WTF have you been doing all this time?
jk HT.
Maybe if people would stop predicting the end of the game and just go have fun with it as it is it would become contagious, drawing more in to see what the excitement is all about. If I came to these BBs thinking about joining today or coming back into the game after an absence I might go look elsewhere.
Sure there's things that can be fixed, changed or added. That's what the wishlist, bug reports and aircraft and vehicle forums are for.
In many ways the game is what we make of it. How about we make the best of it instead of the worst?
