Some type of better training would be useful.

I have been playing the game for years! And only a couple weeks ago did I learn that you could change prop RPM independently from throttle!

How has THAT escaped me all this time?  :uhoh

The command is keypad + and -. You need a keyboard with a keypad. If you use a notebook without a keypad it may have a function key for alternate functions of the regular keyboard. If you map RPM to an analog control the keypad keys will not work.

Correct.  That said, if you have a non-standard keyboard, you can also use the "Fix Key" button to train the game to use alternate buttons for the ones it wants to use.

We have been putting together help videos on our Youtube channel.  It is a start.  Working on the keyboard and input settings/controls section now.

How is "fix key" different from "clear key" and "set key"?

The "Fix Key" button allows the game to change its idea of what scan code the game should expect from that button.  It is a much lower level.

Basically, you press the button, and it if it show wrong, or not at all, on the virtual keyboard in the menu, then use "Fix Key" to correct it.

Do you hold the physical keyboard key down then select the virtual key then click Fix key with your mouse?

Just click the "Fix Key" button and it will provide instructions.

Thanks Skuzzy. Pressing it to find out what's in it was not my first choice.  :D

There is a pop-up tip on the button, could it also say "click for instructions" ?

In-game tutorial would only work in the TA, wouldn't work very well in the MA.
