Actually, I talked to HiTech and the fuel issue is something we might be able to look into for the AI dude.

There ya go.
Why not just let the AI guy do his best until it gets blowed up, or hits the ground?  It's not like the AI guys are in short supply :)

Just a guess but.....It may be as simple as "all I was missing was an aileron".

The autopilot sometimes is unable to level a plane missing an aileron, unless it is already level, and then sometimes even that doesn't work.

For the 262, maybe the autopilot just could not level the plane and bailed.

That would be true.  When the plane is out of fuel, it cannot be flown, thus it is un-flyable.
I dont know bout that skuzzy. I fly gliders and i know for a fact. I am flying with out fuel.

Well, the poor little AI guy really is a bit clueless.  He knows how to keep a plane level in flight for you, but he panics when it will not fly any more.

He is intended to be a pretty lame pilot.
Sounds like an easy fix. I would pay you 14.95 to fix it

Who cares about losing 262s to disco, the p40C is clearly a more important piece of hardware.

Either he had barely enough perks to fly a 262 or simply ignored the other times his internet went to crap and upped a 262. My guess is he tried to zip around and lost the 262 and wants to blame his 99 cent internet.

Its an easy fix alright, a few more sorties and he can fly a 262 again, don't make the mistake of losing it again. If I am lying just sending a film to skuzzy so he can decide what happened, however whining on the BBS won't get your precious perks back.

I understand the frustration.  We do need the AI guy to be quite lame or people would let him fly the plane while they sat back sipping a drink, or three.

I see no problems with that at all

edit: for spelling...because I'm sipping a drink...or three  :uhoh

Actually that was my one and only disco or internet issue of the day. Second only sadden that my 262 wasn't shot down but the pilot just bailed from it. Also Where did I whine for my perks back?
was my 2nd 262 lost in back to back sorties i didnt plan on surviving the sortie i was trying to see how long it would take before they blasted my 262 out of the sky just sad it went down because of a disco  :rofl oh well guess its back to earning fighter perks to do it all over again

Have to say that the OP didn't really sound like a whine  :old:
