Where are my right click six calls???

Ok... tried to be nice about it... asked  nicely (for me).  No right click six calls.   I suppose I will just have to send some thugs to the office eh guys?  

Hooligan will be at your office to straighten this all out!

Um......ya know that is a good idea.  And it surely wouldnt be hard to implement, I mean after all.....you've done it before.

Hmm... the fact that none of the HTC staff have ever responded to this request lends me to believe that we'll see it soon.

.....right?

And I'm wondering what the terrain will be in the next tour... that starts tomorrow, doesn't it?

Lets debate the issue:

Mouse click six calls are bogus.  WHat pilot ever just clicked on a friendly sending an instant message?

Use RW or type it you lazy bastards!

 They usually just clicked on a microphone and warned the friendly. So until we get multiple vox channel capability, tactical and squad vox, the one RW channel and a "6" mouse click would work fine. And I'd like a user chooseable option of text warning or pre-recorded vox warning.

 I also want it so the next time I'm 125yds off the rear end of a "just about to die" bogy (in a YAK you really have to get close to make what little ammo u have count) and I look back and there's a friendly C-hog at 800yds getting reading to fire and steal my quarry.  I want to mouse click on him to get em to break off and leave my dinner alone

I think I will have hooligan and se break a few fingers and then the value of right click 6 calls will be a triffle more evident eh?

LOL Westy, I hear ya on makin others leave ya kills alone  

User-defined message would be really nice, along with a customizable sound so you could just slap a "6call.wav" into the sounds folder and have something sure to get yer attention

Not speaking for HiTech, nor will I get specific because I don't want to mis-quote him, but a few weeks ago, this issue came up online. If memory serves, HT said this could be done. I remember seeing something about text messages and/or wav files. The wav thing is what got my attention  . Don't remember tho if he said he was going to do it or not. Wish he would tho.

And there might be a better method than right click the 6 call, Sorta a pain looking in 1 view then have to click with other hand, Piture the padlock targeting system used with a single button or posibly 2 button presses 1 to select 1 to send button press.
Thinking about it I like the 1 button press 90% of time would go to the correct guy, and if it didn't would just press again for next guy in view.

The only thing I don't like about that is I don't use padlock, where I might reach for the mouse to give someone a warning.

One button would definitely be best... there is a shortage of buttons available on my stick as it is.

I like the idea of a wav that is heard by the person you padlocked - if something like that would even work...  It would be tense as hell to hear "Break! Break! Break!" come screamin' over your radio.

Makes my mouth water...
