Vulcan - how did you get DCS World running with DK2? My friend has trouble with serious juddering. He tried the suggestions from the OR and DCS boards with no avail. What are your HW specs?

I have read that plugging in the power adapter can help with this?

DCS World is insane on the DK2, you feel like you could reach out and touch the cockpit. The 6DoF head tracking is to die for.

Hurry up with the DK2 support HT...  :)

i5 3Ghz, GTX660, 8Gb RAM, Win 7. I get a slight little bit of "stutter" when turning my head sharply - I've not had time to fine tune it.

Samsung is having a unique version of the Oculus made for them.  This has no impact on Oculus's regular business.

It's not even really the same as the Rift, you slot a Samsung phone into it for watching media, and Android games. 3DoF using the phone sensor, not 6DoF - and not low persistence either.

As far as I have read about it FB looks into any other use for it except PC gaming. Regarding the figures, FB paid 2 billion for it and I have a very tough time accounting that this kind of money will be made in a declining market like PC games.

Yet, time will tell and we find out.

Getting contacts today - hopefully that will enchance my OR experience. Too bad there are no flightsims with decent OR support out yet (hint, hint).

A quick search indicates that there are plenty of people using DCS with AMD cards. What is your source of info?

Only the Rift DK 2 is a problem with AMD on DCS. I just get a black screen. Took my DK2 to my son who has a Nvidia card and it worked great. Waiting for new Nividia cards to dump my R295x. Just tired of fighting it.

Must be a driver issue. You planning to sell the old card on Ebay?
