Sierra had some great games back in the day. Civil War one very similar to the design of Panzer General.

How could I have forgotten to mention the Age of Empires; that sparked or was the first big name in a great several year period where many of the medieval time period games became popular; not sure if that was Total War's roots.

All of the tycoon games I loved. Played them ALLLLLLL the time as a kid. I also love the Gran Turismo series until Forza Motorsports came out. Gotta love  the "Modern Classic" Mario Kart. Call of Duty Black Ops was always fun.

Online, I played a whole lot of runescape as a kid. They released an Old School client back from 2007 last year. Started playing that again when that came out. Still get on from time to time.

 :lol  Yeah, admittedly the controls were a little wonky, until I got use to them. :)  Goldeneye was a blast, but I loved Perfect Dark. :D

As maligned as it often was for sticking with carts, the N64 had some GREAT games. GoldenEye, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Rogue Squadron, Conker's Bad Fur Day (screw you, Live And Reloaded). StarFox 64 was good, though I honestly preferred the original on SNES (Peppy and Slippy were WAY less annoying).
