Meh.  

It sounds a bit like U2 was trying hard to be a Coldplay cover band for this album.  No wonder they gave it away for "free".

I take the same approach to U2 that I do with the Matrix trillogy i.e. focus on the first movie, try hard to pretend the others were never made.  Same applies here:  U2 hasn't had a decent album since Rattle & Hum, so I focus on that album and anything older....then try hard to forget about the rest.

I feel the same way.  To me, "The Edge" is a nickname that someone who is certainly an imbecile could only give to their self.

The Edge isnt even that good of a guitar player.  Sure if you stak $10,000 worth of effects on top of a 2 chord riff it sounds ok i guess.
