MIT already disproved time travel. To date nobody has shown up to a time traveler convention.

Of course time travel is possible, but only if you are capable of living outside of time to begin with. You aren't, so forget it.

Who knows what the future will bring? Just look at the ignorance of only a few hundred years ago. Earth was center of universe, earth was flat, mermaids were actually dolphins and whales, and no idea what in heck the stars were. Even in the last 100 or so years we've made more progress since the 6 millions or so before that. If your in your 50's or 60's or older just look whats happened in our liftimes?

Men on the moon? Old news. The discovers of the universe alone have been astounding. As a young man if I wanted to call over sea's it wasnt much different then in the 1940's. Now? If your kid is stationed over seas you can play a video game with him and talk in virtual real time. Just the tech behind Aces High wasnt even dreamed of in the '60s. A kid joining the service now will in his lifetime probably see Hypersonic transport, quantum computers, evidence of life on other planets, incredible advances in medicine, maybe even AI.

Things seemed, and seem, impossible not because we dont have the answers but cause we havnt even discovered the questions yet. But If I ever get a ticket on that times machine there will be more then a few girls I passed up that will be getting a phone call.

Astronauts that return from the ISS are on average 9 seconds younger than people on earth due to their time slowing down. So time travel is being done as we speak. Just in small scale.

Parallel universe theory: Time travel is possible though existence is made up of innumerable parallel universes, in which we exist in all/most. Time travel is really jumping to an early universe.

You are correct, sir.  500 years into the future, Air Force Colonels will look like this:

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Astronauts that return from the ISS are on average 9 seconds younger than people on earth due to their time slowing down. So time travel is being done as we speak. Just in small scale.

That's relativity and not time travel. The closest thing we have for a theory that would allow time travel also involves wormhole theory. The problem with wormholes is figuring out where they go before you try to travel through one, but it is possible that there are certain flavors of wormholes that translate through time. The problem is just like I suggested that you have to be able to survive the trip, and as Hawkins suggested that a feedback loop would cause the wormhole to collapse if the trip is a local one (same universe/dimension). So, even if you can travel in time you can never influence your own timeline and probably it would be a one way trip where you can never report back your success, or failure.

It might make an interesting television program. TV audiences have a notoriously easy acceptance level of plot twists, so it could run forever if you do it right.

That's relativity and not time travel.

All time travel must follow the laws of physics so it doesn't matter if the time shift is caused by high speed or other phenomenon. It's still time travel.
