I love watching people try to make sense of something that does not exist.

Wiki?

That's time dilation Ripley, as described by the special theory of relativity. As I already stated, time travel requires leaving the time continuum at spacetime A and reentering the time continuum at spacetime B. Both examples you have given are time dilations. So, what's wrong is your understanding of the scenario. Even wiki indicates that there is little support for it in any factual sense as derived from theoretical physics. You might try philosophy next, as I understand that's where time travel has it's strongest support (mental exercise is required).

Time dilation is time travel, what's so hard to understand? It makes no difference what method is used, if your relative time towards the rest of the universe changes, you're travelling in time. Coincidentally the wiki lists time dilation under the paragraph 'time travel' so a lot of maintainers there seem to agree with me.

No, it's not. It's more of a distortion. You are trapped in time. You cannot escape it. Time travel requires escaping time at least temporarily. If you could actually travel in time, then you could visit time prior to your birth. You cannot, which serves to prove time travel is just a philosophical exercise, or science fiction. Pretending otherwise is just ridiculous.

Sorry bud you're confusing the time travel concept with traveling back in time. You don't have to travel back in time in order for it to be considered time traveling, traveling to the future is also time traveling - and also the only currently accepted possible form of such.

Time travel is theoretically possible ,which means it is possible only the problem is we dont have the engineering skills to build necessary stuff to do it (also requires alot of E).
But it does not mean some other civilization has the same limitations with us...
On the other hand think about if you could do time travel would you ever want to people in the time you are visiting know that you are from a different time ? nopee....

It seems to time travel to the past is being done every day and night  :headscratch:
Light travels at a set velocity and therefore when looks at any object, one is looking
at the object as it was and not as it is... or was... is... whatever  :D
