My favourite show was the one in which Hawkeye was mistakenly reported as having died.  In trying to get word to his father he sent a telegram which went something like this:

Dad stop
I'm not dead stop
If you are thinking of selling my golf clubs STOP

lol

They had Aircraft in MASH too you know......

Was a funny show but had some good drama also. Saddest part is when they found out Henry died in a plane crash.  :cry

The three characters from the TV show that survived from the first show to the last were:

Hawkeye
Hotlips
Radar
(Though I would say Father M but I'm not sure when his character was introduced on the TV show.

I believe only one actor reprised his role from the movie and that was Gary Burghoff as Radar.

...prolly every episode.

Penobscott, always thought that was one of the funniest names I ever heard.

Hawkeye's PTSD before the term existed.

Charles' eccentricity, just like an uncle of mine.

Great show  :aok

Penobscot is a Maine Native American word and the name of the County I live in....fwiw Hawkeye was from the fictional town of Crabapple Cove Maine.

Radar left in 1979-1980 season.  Klinger didn't start till the second season.

The only 3 cast members to be in all 11 seasons were;

Hawkey
Hotlips
Father Mulcahy

That is all.   :)

There was something wrong with one of his hands. Even so, he was a pretty good drummer.

I remember Klinger always talked about being from Toledo.  I used to watch it during high school years every night from 10 to 1030 before lights out pretty religiously.

My favorite episode is where Hawkeye was on the bus and kept having PTSD flashbacks about the women silencing her chicken to keep them from being heard by the NKs (it was actually her child).  Pretty good acting, showing something as stated, PTSD, that wasn't called that back then (shell shock or whatever).

I still watch it on occasion online.  Good stuff.
