Advertising has an element of timing that is vital, you only get one shot to get someones attention. 
Wait for it...there is going to be something to show, then the promotions will get, and keep, the players attention.

The internet has had too many years of vaporware, they need to show what they did, not what they are trying to do.  It'll be worth it;)

Hitech Creations seems to be long on technical development skills, but short on marketing. This is not untypical for small niche companies, but still a major problem for many.

Lesta Studio is a small developer based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.



They started out with a handful of guys and made pretty interesting games like Pacific Storm. Now they're developing World of Warships for Wargaming Inc. Earlier in the development they had little or nothing to show of the game itself, but they've got extensive experience in movie post production and marketing. Even if they're busy making the game they realize that marketing is an essential part of making any product. So they find time, or probably more correctly force themselves to make the time to do this:

That's 100 seconds of video promotion that shows skill and determination, that they're still in business and believe in their product. And it generated enormous interest last year at E3. Also their website is a work of art.

Maybe HTC wants people not to check out the game until the new version goes to beta.  First impressions and all that.
