That's where I'm working today.  Roads are in good shape,  well the main ones. Most people are still staying off the road so that makes it easier. Snow piles are starting add up tho. Like rabbit turds, they are all over the place!

300$ fine if out on the NY streets after 11 PM; martial law for some snow ? :headscratch:   :lol

"The entire city subway system will shut down at 11 p.m. Monday — and city drivers will face arrest if they venture out onto streets themselves — amid a massive blizzard, authorities said."

"Anyone in violation can be charged with a misdemeanor and face a fine of up to $300, Cuomo said."

I agree totally with cuomo. Its the only way to get folks to stay off the street and be safe. Last year and years before folk went out on the streets and got stuck in the snow for days with no water and food. All the mayor and governor was doing was to make it safe for everyone. I think they did a damn good job.

Ever hear of civil liberty?  It wasn't an alien invasion, it was 8 inches of snow.

34 inches in mass . . . you know it's hard to keep one's mouth shut when it is the right time to do so.

I'm very happy with all the governmental decisions.  Be safe.  Be at home.  Be a family.

We have about 2 feet here, the drifts are over 4 feet in some places, and it's still snowing. I have the day off from work, but that means I get to spend the days shoveling. Wish me luck!

Just finished shoveling this afternoon.  Just in time to go back to work.   :bhead

Hey Obie, your sigfile... It's from 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." - The Apostle Paul. Apparently, that Polish pilot was a good Catholic.

I keep telling my wife that we should go visit Old Sturbridge Village. We haven't been there in about 30 years. Maybe this spring.
My regards,

I kinda told my ex the same thing, build a snow fort out in the street and hunker down... basically the same idea, with some minor differences maybe.

Oh yeah sure, "They" know better then the citizens. Thats how it starts you know.

This is America. Your supposed to be able to walk the streets "you" "we" own any time you want. Some snow falling is not a Hurricane and no matter what the weather event I dont think "they" have any business in ours.

Anyway we are getting hammered. I looked out the window and shuddered, sure hope to snow blower starts. On the plus side all the flights will be canceled so they will be paying me all that money to watch a football game. :D
