Sounds interesting. I had a 1 frame event where I depicted the US attacking Germany before Pearl Harbor.

And it was a blast!  :rock

Interesting in seeing your writeup, I'll try to stop in if I see it. <S>
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I agree, some of the "what if" setups in the past did draw some larger attendance....

I just now realized both Oldman and Slash seem to be no longer part of the AvsA Staff......

Thank you both for all your volunteered time over the years keeping  CT and AvsA going! it is one of my most favorite arenas in the game

<S> & Cheers

TC
Thanks TC, I was glad to contribute. The guys that followed really have done a tremendous amount of work keeping it going and are a talented bunch. :salute

Many thanks for Slash and Oldman and their many years of service. Special thanks to Oldman, who saw something in me, that no one else did or didn't want to.
you both have been not only integral, but also driving forces behind both creating a action filled environments and also calming forces when it was necessary.

to say thank you doesn't come close to the gratitude I feel towards both of you. for now, it will have to do.  :salute

now back to your regularly schedule program:

I will work with devil505 and we'll come up with a write up for it. I think I might has some cool ideas to make it plausible.

nefarious, I'll make sure I send you a copy so that you can see what we're up to. you might even be able to poach some of  it for
something in the SEA.

for the record I tested both the HE-111 and the JU88's on the carrier, both landing and take off. you can't auto take off, but you can take off and land no problem. you have to scootch a little to the left so the wing clears the superstructure of the carrier. Easily done with both planes and a little practice. rearming and landing is not difficult as long as you come in very slow. don't forget you can back up on a carrier by giving it the slightest amount of fuel and it will roll backwards.

Fuel load makes a difference whether you can get airborn or not. so far ive tried the ju88 and HE111 with 1/4 fuel and 2 torps, the ju88 with 2 torps and 10 small bombs.
have not tried anything heavier.

working on the stuka and the BF109T(sub BF109E4) right now.

also latest write up. please add or comment to what you think. yes im very excited about doing this!!

stuka will take off with a Moab and 1/4 fuel, BF109E-4 tough landing because of nose(cant see), but other then that, very playable. all planes re-armable and taking off no problem, except the bombers need to move left just a little. lets do this!! just see above and help out with the write up. this setup will be epic!!!

Is someone trying to join Delta Tau Chi?

"What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!"
