Please Brooke Give me names I'll look online see if any are available here

Most are only locally available.  Also, I'm not sure if the types of beers I like are what most people like.  For example, I like porters and hefeweizens but not IPA's.  The bottled ones aren't as good as on tap, but I still like these couple that are more widely available in the US:  Pyramid Hefeweizen and Deschutes Black Butte Porter.

There is not argument there...American microbrews absolutely put Canadian microbrew to shame.
Every time I go to Vancouver even the bartenders there agree.

Well there's your problem right there.... British Columbia.... The land of fruits and nutz!   :x  Come to the frozen tundra that is the prairies and drink Pilsner! It'll put hair on your hair!

In my home region (Gloucestershire) the local rotgut is cider we call it scrumpy its a very rough drink not what you would call refined at all
it is about 12 to 15 % alcohol the
Legend is that rats try to sample the apples in the huge fermenting bins and fall in and are left in to improve the flavour !!!
Of course I'm right I'm British

I'll agree with the fruits and nuts comment, but Pilsner? I'll drink it if it's free.  :D I like a few Great West Brewery products, original 16 probably the most.
