TBM do not need a formation. It will only be used as extra bomb carts with no intention of bringing them back. Unlike heavy bombers the gunners of tje TBM do not overlap as much and its only real means of defense is maneuvering.

What the TBM brings to the table is the level bomb sight that in AH world is the equivalent to laser guided munitions. They can put ords on target with much higher precision and less riak from acks than the F4U. It can also do some crazy rocket stunts that no other plane can do (totally a game feature though).

So by this logic, no Bomber should have a formation. The point I'm trying to make is the TBM (and B5N) would be a better contribution to the MA if they where able to be flown in a Formation like most of the heavy level bombers. I doubt people will use the drones as "bomb trucks" anymore than they do with Lancasters and TUTUs

Do you use the Norden to aim them against ground targets?
;)

So by this logic, no Bomber should have a formation.
I've been saying that for years.

As much as I'd like to agree with you, the fact of the matter is that level bombers only see consistent use because of the 3 plane formation option.

Fortunately HTC never listened to that :)

Few fly the TBM because most have never heard of it and don't even know what it is

Yet the even more obscure LA-7 has always been one of the most used fighters of AH.
Unfamiliarity only slows down initial adoption, but in the long run the AH players mainfly chose stuff based on how it works out for them. History has shown repeatedly how quick they are to pick up a plane/Gv and again to drop it if any performance changes happen to it.

You must have rockets selected when calibrating.

That may be the most impressive screenshot I've seen yet.   The wood looks really authentic.

I've never seen a clockface like that.  Anybody recognize it?
