Just thread a small screw into the tire treads, say front left and rear right.

If that still doesnt give the message then continue with screws until he finds a better place to park.  If he asks about the punctures, just tell him you had the roof done last year and you're always getting flats! :devil

Has he every right to be there?
Is it a very packed street?
This day and age a bit of give and take is a good thing..
You never know he might lend you his lawn mower when yours breaks down..
Build bridges not walls..
Have a chat with him..
He might turn out to be a WW2 enthusiast...tell him about Aces high and he might even become a squaddie..
All it takes is communication

I'd go the polite route first with your reasons as to why it'd be neighborly to oblige.

If that fails; wait til he's an inch or two blocking your drive and have him ticketed if possible...

good luck
They're casting their bait over there, see?

I see a lot of people here post with the idea of some type of vandalism, really guys?
Whatever happened to just walking next door knocking on the door and introduce yourself then explain to him what the problem is man to man. I honestly don't think people really know how to communicate anymore.

I always take the high road in these situations, ask nicely. You might find a new friend.

Unfortunately, a rude response from the offender sometimes opens the door for what I wanted to do in the first place.... Like mowing the grass when wet and plastering his car with wet grass clippings.

Stay away from vandalism. An "ooops" moment like the example above is better for all.

i left a note on the car since i didn't know who it was, wasn't a packed street, and he was encroached into the driveway area (albeit by only a couple of inches), i hope he read it and is polite about it since i was... sucks i really wanted to go the sledgehammer route too..   :O

I once had problems with neighbours and parking places. I solved them by getting my own house and my own driveway. Ha! I showed them.

The problem with revenge actions is that once you get caught doing that stuff, you're the one in court, not him. Better to take it through private discussion and if that doesn't help, seek communal help. Many times the parking lots are privately owned so the owner can basically order him to move his car.

I don't know about the rules there, but here the law clearly says that parking near a driveway to a property or house has to be done in a manner that driving to and from said property doesn't significantly become more difficult. Basically that means that the bumper shouldn't exceed the lineage of the driveway, allowing a 90 degrees turn. Also there should be left enough space for a bigger vehicle like a firetruck to drive to said driveway.

So is the guy blocking your driveway, thus endangering your and yours life in case of emergency or only causing you to turn the steering wheel more than you'd like? In the former case it's a police issue, in the latter, well...

How about just knocking on his door and asking him not to?

Or better yet call 911 and tie up an emergency line and a squad cause you dont want to do what Humans have been doing for millions of years and "talking" to your neighbor?

see that's the problem, people are not able to knock and ask politely not to do something.

I have 2 parking spaces for my apartment but only 1 car.  so I noticed somebody was using my extra parking space for a few weeks.  I didnt need it so I didnt care.  then my kids came to visit for spring break, so I went and knocked on the door and explain the situation and just let her know that my kids would be using my parking space for a few days but she was more than welcome to use it after than.

it was a win-win situation for me.  she moved her truck and I got to see her with no bra on and an almost see thru blouse    .
