Why does there exist a car that can have its brakes disabled electronically???
I am so glad I am building my own cars.
There is an electronic inhibitor used when the ABS system kicks in. It prevents the brake pedal from adding pressure to the brakes. If you trick the system into thinking the wheels are locked up, the inhibitor should kick in and pressure relieved from the brakes.Sounds like the software was written assuming nothing external of it would interfere.I am so glad I am building my own cars.
And this is why I will try and keep my old 98 Dodge Ram running. Sure it's old, drinks gas like chocolate milk and has to goto the doctor often, but at least I know I'll be safe when the Cylons attack.Driving around in my Battlestar Galatica.
Off a kit?
