modem/router
« on: August 05, 2015, 07:37:57 PM »
don't laugh. i still run dsl. the modem i have right now is a verizon supplied unit that's only a few months old....and it's dropping in/out constantly. to be honest, i just want to keep dsl. what's a good unit to buy? bear in mind, that i need to be able to plug in a standard phone jack, not the bigger type.

 thanks guys

DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is a family of services.  In order to know what is compatible with yours, you will have to ask Verizon.  Over the years they have changed which DSL service they have been offereing in order to boost speeds and reduce costs to them.
