The name has been held for several tours and has not even seen a single sortie. I'm not going to say anything, but if you are going to have another account and never use it, could you at least have the decency to name it something different?

It's a players name. He may not have the time to play right now but is still PAYING for then it is still his and you should have no expectations of him giving it up.

If he is not still a subscriber HTC is pretty good at holding a name in escrow  on the chance a player will return. Something I'm sure you would be grateful for if you had to stop sending in your money for a few months for what ever reason.

Even so, I think HTC releases the names once or twice a year to put them back into circulation.  You could give them a call to see if that name is/may be available some time soon. Asking here on the boards is a long shot as a very small percentage of players visit the boards.
