H8K WITH Formations. :D  I don't see why it should be restricted. :headscratch:

The Ju-188 or Do-217, so the Germans finally have something that stands some kind of chance against LW stuff.  Personally I'd want the 217, simply because it is a twin tail design. :x

All this talk about adding new planes but the only planes I see people flying these days are P51Ds and 190Ds. There really isn't a point in adding new planes if 90% of the population is afraid to fly non exceptional performance fighters.   :noid

No, that's not true.  Yesterday I encountered TA152's, BF110's, Spit 9's, Spit 16's, Spit 14's, 109K4's, Yak's, P38's, P51B's, 190A8's, 190F8's, 190A5's, Mossie's, along with The P51D's and the 190D9's you mentioned.  Then there were the Buffs, Lancaster, B17, B25,
AR234, TU2, as well as a Goon.

Violator, I think you are still mad from your deaths to the 190D9 and the P51D, that fought as their aircraft was intended and wouldn't get in to a turny fight with you that you complained about on 200 for quite awhile sir.

Zoney,

Lets qualify this. He was probably alone looking for a 1v1. P51's and D9s on average are not flown by those looking for a white knuckle 1v1. And furballs at capped bases will have many lower performers in the grass at the risk of being swamped by them, or picked by the rescue force of incoming hi alt, not interested in 1v1 P51's and D9's.

I suspect the alpha, either when it goes beta, or the rollout of AH3 will have something new. New has nothing to do with a player's willingness to use it 1v1. It has everything to do with it being NEW.

New, will probably keep more customers paying their subscription than the availability of 1v1 in the long run. Otherwise we wouldn't stay in hoards to shoot one guy in the back.

I was merely being sarcastic but for real, I'm pretty sure 90% of planes I came across last night were 190Ds and P51s. They didn't "fight" as their aircraft was intended, they overshot 6 times, ran away then turned when I turned, their plane was able to catch mine of course. I call it, lucky for being able to scoot away every time they missed me and then be able to turn around and catch me. Just cheesy flying if you ask me.

IMO the 190D should be a 6 Eny plane considering its speed and excel capabilities with the gun package it carries.

I'd like to see the H8K2 or the H8K2-L added to the game, it would be fun to replicate some of the air battles between patrols planes like the Emily and Allied bombers/scout planes that took place in the SWPA.

forgot to add Seafire Mk IIIc to my list,  well done Guppy!       :aok

Badly  need the ability to terrorise enemy planes from a CV with some OOMPHH!!  our current seafire just hasn't got the engine power to dominate Uber land based rides and being a more common variant to the existing one in game the Mk IIIc will improve historical realism in the Late War arena.

Also because Guppy is such a good egg in reminding us of these things maybe a cheeky Griffon Spitfire Mk XII, kind of like a SPIT 14 that is a little easier/tamer to dance with.

One of the AK's flew a P-40F in the MA for much of last month and had a 2.63 K/D in it (62 kills, 24 deaths)...  Some people LIKE the older stuff...  :neener:

That may be true.  Probably because the 90% keep getting crushed by the 10%, who also happen to mostly fly the best fighters.

Would like to see an Italian bomber SM or Cant' or even an inferior Breda dive bomber to flesh out the third wheel of the Axis power. Though they would be date less hanger queens, they'd still look marvelous and I mean that.

Beaufighter - perhaps the most significant WWII plane we do not have.
Whirlwind - a BoB plane with cannons, jabo capability and sufficient performance not to be a total dog in the MA.
And.... Roll drums..

Mosquito XVIII (tze-tze) - 57mm true AP autocannon. Will be the king of flying cannons, and it is made of wood so cheap for HTC to make.
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.
