Lmao!

Everyone in this thread who has designed a map and had it out in rotation, raise your hand.

If your hand isn't raised, well, you're just leg humping someone who has.

Yes. I've never denied leg humping people who make or design stuff for me to have fun.

Ranger has made plenty of magnificent maps, and is working hard to help on the Alpha.  He has standing to criticize.

He can raise his own hand cuz I've seen him do it.  He certainly can say whatever he wants.  Anyone else?  Lol

Except for Hitech who built all of this,

Everyone in this thread who has not built a terrain, download the current alpha. Install it and open the TE. Then build a single island with an air field, GV spawns just to know how, and add objects for your GV to shoot at. Run the shore line maker to get nice shore lines. Raise some uplands and paint them with rock features. Remember, elevation is relative if you are missing objects you just spent hours placing on the terrain. Put in some forests and fields of various flora types. Create a flat tank gunnery range with target objects for miles. Create a tank range with forests, and several villages with static tank objects to snipe. Run the build function and play with it as an offline terrain. Then consider repeating that on a larger scale over and over to produce an MA terrain for everyone else while you are blasting the targets you set down and the drones. Took me a weekend to learn down and dirty one object at a time. There are some advanced functions that look like time savers for objects and terrain painting.

Fester is many things but, hats off to him and the other few individuals who make maps. And hats off to Hitech for making the TE work like your familiar high end graphics editing applications so you can get up to speed about as fast as self teaching Photoshop. If I can slog through it to produce an offline terrain, so can you guys.

Just skip the whizzing Hitech off like I did with stupid questions. Talk to Easycor, Ranger, and Greebo.... :O

I have been thinking about making a terrain............if the learning curve is not too steep I'll give it a try with AH III. I have seen my son make terrains for the game he plays and he does them fairly quick (in comparison to the first one he did).

We had some of the best tank fights last night that I have seen in a very long time. The Knights took 79. The Rooks wanted it back and brought out all the perked rides. Very little bomb-terdling because the eggers have to climb and fly a long ways in CraterMA. It is nice to see every GV in the game being used without the terdlings grieving the gv'ers. That's exactly why I requested A21 be deleted. GV'ing in Fester would be allot of fun.

Talk to the three I mentioned. The real issue will be the backend and how all the front end objects tie together into the whole strategic timer system. It looks like you can plop base objects and strat objects down, make ownership across your three countries evenly and it will run. As for cosmetic issues and some finesse, the three guys I mentioned.

I bet your son came to a similar realization about his map making utility. The rest is cosmetic and how artistic and creative you want to invest the time. The terrains paint on with a brush so you need to experiment to see what they look like close up. Then how to blend them together realistically. I suspect those advanced tools I referenced.

Just press buttons and don't worry......

so you have done absolutely nothing towards bettering the game. Other than pay the mandatory 15$/per month.

What I have done? Nothing, but I'm not sitting here bashing other players hard work and time they put to make this game great.

Also, GFY.
