My wife on her way to Glendale for the championship via a side trip

She's a Bama fan... I'm an Auburn fan but I guess for SEC sake, I'll
be pulling for Bama

Smart man.   :rofl     I see it being a barroom brawl type of game and would be floored if either team "ran away with it".

That 'Team SEC' mentality is why THE NORTH  won.

I guess I'll be the first to say it Roll Tide!  Clemson and Bama were equally talented and both well coached.  This game was awesome and came down to a risky call by Saban - if the OSK failed, he would be ridiculed forever, but Griffith executed the play to perfection.

This game almost gave me a heart attack!

Clemsons D actually played pretty well but the blow coverage td passes really hurt, I'd say those plays and that amazing onsides won the game

Special teams won the game for Bama.  that 95 yard kickoff return helped a lot

I watched highlights of the game.  Despite the score being close and big on both sides, most of the highlights were of Alabama big plays.  I assume that there were a lot of awesome plays by Clemson, too, given the score.

If Michigan was playing in the National Championship game, it would be extraordinarily difficult for me to cheer them on.

Now, don't be a sourpuss.  I cheer on Ohio State in their post season.   :aok

I look at it this way.  I always want Michigan to beat Ohio State.  But, after that game, I want Ohio State to do as well as possible, so that it is clear Michigan was playing a great team.

Blue didn't stuff the Buckeyes enough.  As I recall the score was 42 to 13 In the Big House.  Michigan's chance will be this year, 9 Underclassmen going to the Pros not counting the Seniors at OSU.  Most of them early round picks and Bosa just may well be #1.  It's good to finally have Michigan back.
