Me too Brooke!  Wisconsin thoroughly dominated Michigan State.  Should be a good game.  Buckeyes had the day off (bye) .

Wisconson D was inspired, impresive young guys. A failed game for o'connor and the MSU defence.  Wisconsons freshman QB played well.

If UofM and UofW both show up it could be a good game.

Go Blue! that D is hot!  sorry to lose Jeremy Clark, he was a Stud and was getting ready for a NFL shot.

Tennessee found a way to win and look tough enough to win the SEC east.  GA went down in embarrassing manner.  FLA - overrated it seems.

The Badgers looked really good against Sparty.  I think the buckeyes are the team to beat in the conference still.

Bama is still the team to beat and Ole Miss's romping of GA makes them look even better.

ND, USC,  what's next for them?  I doubt Les Miles will be coaching a LS Who next season.

Ever since the Reggie Bush debacle at USC the problem has gone down hill, as it should.  Pete Carroll is in trouble again with wrong doings in Seattle.  Where ever he has gone problems soon crop up.

ND will never be the program it once was.  I admire their academic standards but imho they will no longer be a player in the national championship.  Not enough athletes.  The good ones go to Bama ,OSU etc.

If they wish to play pro football all the recruits have to do is look at the drafts and see where the Pro Football players come from.  ND has a few good ones but mostly linemen.  Not many good skill position

players go to ND or USC anymore.  ND and USC will probably go to the Soup Bowl for the holiday season Bowl games.  Pity.  They both were very good at one time.

Everyone down here knew it was coming but I certainly thought LSU would wait till the end of the season.  Ed Orgeron will be interim HC till they hire Art Briles (LOL)

Les has a 78% win percentage before being fired at LSU. Now who does LSU think will do just as good, if not better than Les? Sounds like the proverbial nail in the coffin for LSU's football program. They'll slip back into mediocrity like they've always been before Saban coached there.

I agree with you about the NY Times.

The Times Higher Education is not related to them at all.  It is an organization and publication based in London whose business is information about universities.  It's a leading such publication in the world.

I'm with Plazus.  It's ridiculous.  If they did hire Briles (like Ammo talked about), they would do fine because Briles, too, is a great coach; but it would be very satisfying to see LSU fall flat on its face for some years to come.

I am kind of thinking the same thing but you never know maybe they can find an up and coming coach, I dont think Herman would leave Houston when he's got them rolling along even if LSU has the money for them after buying out Miles' contract. Orgeron really wasnt that impressive at Ole Miss and I dont think he will be as successful as Les then again Saban wasnt that Great at MSU but got the ball rolling at LSU so who knows.
