Ever notice how the Urban Meyer Wiener walks on his toes?  Kinda like after a normal guy finishes a post flaming chili poop.  Maybe he's got hemorrhoids or a dominating wife.  Could be he's just as Zack says "light on his feet".  I'd don't know?   :headscratch:

Hazell is finally out at Purdue.  Everyone now wants Les Miles.  The sad part is that it would be a huge improvement.

Let me tell you a story about the Darell Hazell era at Purdue.  I live out of state now and fly back for football games multiple times per football season.  During the Darell Hazell era, I've flown back to go to 14 Purdue football games, the most recent being this past weekend vs. Iowa, and even including a road game at Michigan State.  In those games, Purdue has gone 0 and 14.

Sure I could have (near-) guaranteed myself seeing a win by going to a FCS matchup, but that's not how I roll. I go to the best non-conference game, homecoming, and another Big Ten game or two.  In that time, I expect even a bad coach to luck out at least a few times in 14 tries.  Not Darell Hazell's teams.

In 2012, Purdue was 1 play away from beating the top two teams in the country.  In 2016, Purdue people are questioning if Purdue even belongs in the Big Ten any more.  That, is, a, bad, four, years.

Pipz can give a deeper insite on said saying "Light on his feet".

Pipz is a avid dog walker and likes to partake in windy walks, I am not sure if he actually owns a canine?

The above statements are not based upon any know fact the in regards to Pipz and footwear :old:

Les Miles would be good, problem being recruiting.  Big ten has a lot of schools and not a overwhelming amount of talent.  Saban and Belema left for the SEC.  Many other coaches have struggled.

Recruiting.  A lot depends on the talent in your home state.  For instance schools like Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State have a wealth of talent in their home states.  High School football in these

states are a treasure trove of high school football players. These schools also attract football players from other states but the basic recruiting is done in their home state.  Tough for Iowa, Minnesota

et. al to recruit high school players of the caliber of the aforementioned schools.  Not a slur on Iowa etc.  it's a matter of population and the history of the game itself.

I don't know, I think Les Miles deserve coaching for a better program than Purdue. That place seems like a place you'd like to commit career suicide. In recent years, they're like the "Cleveland Browns" of the Big Ten. Sorry Browns fans.

What do you guys think of the recent announcements made by the Big 12? They recently announced that they will not be expanding.

Source- http://www.elevenwarriors.com/college-football/2016/10/75505/big-12-clown-circus-expansion-talks-continue-with-latest-round-of-no-expansion

If and when the Big 12 goes under, Oklahoma and Texas would be cool additions to the Big Ten West division. If not Texas, then perhaps Kansas?

What do you guys think?

I think the big 12 will cease to exist in 2-3 years.

I think the Big Ten should add two teams (to 16) and re-organize into an upper and lower division ala English Premier vs Football Leagues, and have relegation and promotion.  Then have a four team conference championship with 3 teams seeded from the upper division, and the top team from the lower division.  Each year two teams are promoted and relegated.

Scheduling won't be known more than a year in advance for division games, but that's not a big deal, because the dates you will definitely play someone from your division can be determined.

This would make the Big Ten the most interesting conference by far and give teams something to play for even if they're middle of the pack.
