This one is for the Wolverine fans out there.

So, my wife and I were watching parts of the Ohio State / Penn State game, and they are showing footage of the embarrassing Ohio State mascot mincing about for the camera.  One shot had a dark arc around the lips.

My wife says, "It looks like he has a dirty sanchez."

To your observation that somehow the lack of a targeting call against Bama vectored the game in Bama's favor and an ultimate victory - I disagree.  Bama was the better team last Saturday.  tAm played well in the second qtr though and Bama looked asleep at the wheel for that period.  In Saban fashion, the team adjusted and responded in the second half.  If there was a penalty that pushed a shift in momentum, it was the hands to the facemask of Hurts in the 3rd.

Having said that, I give respect to the Aggies. Sumlin has made them a great team and a true contender in the SEC.

Don't get me wrong. The targeting did not move the game one way or the other. I believe the shift happened when TAMU defense held Alabama but pulled the flag for roughing the passer. Was no need to touch the QB as the play was done and A&M held them. They would have had to punt. A&M had just scored and momentum was theirs to use.

Great games again this week.  Some of the unbeaten have fallen to the 1 loss category.  Long way to go in this season.  Anything can and will happen.

Hey!  They're just kids.

Food for thought.  Viewership and attendance for NFL games has fallen.  Gee..........I wonder why?

Presidential debates and an outstanding World Series.

Also, loss of Tirico to NBC to do college games.

That is NOT/NOT the primary reason the NFL's ratings are dropping.

I don't watch all that much NFL, but what I did watch of it has decreased because of, as Hajo and Ammo say, "other" reasons.

I had a great time at a NFL game this year.  at 50$ a ticket, no problem.

On that note, I got some MSU vs. OSU tickets for 77$.  :aok  The price has been dropping all year.  :rofl Hajo, you ohians can come up if you like, the sparty fans are looking for something else to do.  I still think MSU has a good team and ill be pulling for them to get the win.

There is much angst this morning about the first CFP rankings.  It's a little too early for people to panic about it.  All Washington needs to do is win and they are in.

There are so many scenarios that will change the landscape.  That is one reason I love this time of year.

Sweet!

Spartan stadium is a awesome place to watch a game.  I remember Eddie George running all over msu.  Before they built the wall, I was there when they rushed the field after upsetting Michigan.  One year GameDay was there and us youngish got in with some bongo playing hippies, all I remember was they tore off my inflatable Michigan helmet and cheered as they tossed the severed head around, and their sexy women with the whiskey flask.  Yes, 90's Era msu was Awesome!

I'm looking forward to game day!  It's been a while.

Yeah, I'd like to see Washington as #4, but there are a lot of games left, and I can't fault rating a team highly that lost only to Alabama.

Both good comments.  Brooke gets it too!  On Saturdays if I'm not going to a game it is more fun watching College Football all day then watching one NFL game.  That's just the way I feel.  I don't care if it's Podunk U against

Farquard University. Generally the games at this time of the year in NCAA football are more evenly matched.  So many possibilities, many more then in the NFL for number of teams fighting for 4 playoff berths. Real competition

with just honor and pride and no contract discussions or problems and dare I include drama? It is just more fun watching the kids play. God Bless'em!
