Wondering why they have a Committee if they are only going to elect conference winners as the ones eligible for the playoffs?

If that were the case why do we need a committee?  They'd only need one person to draw from a hat.

#2 beats #3.  I've gotta hear this.  If Wisconsin beats Penn State how is one going to decide against OSU or Michigan which both beat Wisconsin?

I can't wait for this one  :aok  Looks like the BIG turned into one helluva conference.

Great game today between Michigan and Ohio State.  I was rooting for OSU.  God I hate Michigan.  That said Penn State had a great year.

Exactly this. Hence why I think OSU has a decent chance of getting into the CFP.

Well if Clemson and Washington lose both of their conference championships, things could get VERY interesting for the CFP committee. Could you imagine the rage of the rest of the college football world if two or three B1G teams go to the playoffs? If you support expanding the playoffs to 8 teams, this is a scenario you'd want to see happen in order to push for change. Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, and USC are kind of on the outside looking in at this point it seems.

All of the crying last Saturday was a sight to behold.   Adults acting like children over misplaced anger.   Blame the refs instead of three turnovers resulting in 14 points.

It's a mess already.  If Clemson and Washington lose it becomes a HUGE mess.  Colorado vs. Washington...........my head hurts.

The problem is 4 out of the top seven are from the BIG.

Some state that the only team that could compete with BAMA is OSU.  I don't believe that.  What I do believe at this point is that

The Tide will beat anyone they go up against in the playoffs.  I of course will root for OSU but realize they aren't ready for the playoffs.

The Buckeyes have 8 first year players starting on both offense and defense.  Their offense shows that, plus Barrett is not very good throwing the football this year.

To me, even though I am as you know a Buckeye fan, I have to admit at this time Alabama is the best college football team in the country.

As someone said they are lining up to take an arsewhooping from Alabama.

Bama is good but not unbeatable a few teams has put points up against them this year. so i think a few teams have a chance to win. Ohio state they are very young the offense has not been what we are used to seeing JT cant hit the deep ball and teams know this so they are stacking the box and just blitzing at us all the time and as you can see its working michigan had 8 sacks Penn state was close to that as well so bama will prob do the same but the defense is damn good and has kept us in alot of games this year. Clemson can score in bunches so they got a chance it would be a shoot out but they prob have the best chance to beat them this year.

Sounds scary.  I would bet the best defense is what can beat Alabama.  Unfortunately, there is not a team that possesses that defense and also has a offense to put up the points to win.  Michigan could do it, the way they controlled OSU shows their strength.  Im not sure OSU has the men to control the line of scrimmage.  But it is college football, anything could happen.

As a neutral fan. Jim had the right to complain. The refs this year are below average. In every conference.
