I'm still unable to 'Quit' the game cleanly after opening the Graphics Options page.

Otherwise, so far in-game, it's working as expected on my home PC.
Easy in-game again.

Patch update no problem.
Map update in capture flag no problem.

Tried to run vox test in mission arena no joy.  My game id did show up as transmitting and I did get the beep but no sound feedback.

Went an 88 field gun,  Fired shot at default starting position and head cannon fire both ears.  Turned 90 degrees left and fired then heard canon in right ear only.  Turned 90 degrees right from default starting position then fired and only heard cannon fire in left ear.

Download works OK. Tuning to my ID in the mission arena gives no sound back. Checked my sound setup in game. At the desktop microphone works to record my voice.

I take it you have disabled add-on sounds for this test?

I am getting an odd 'tick' where the tank engine sound isn't looped properly.

EDIT: Vox seems to be broken. I am using a very simple mixer (Yamaha MG10XU) with USB out. It works perfectly in AHII. In AHIII I get no indication that vox is active until I unkey the mic. Then I get the roger beep only.

If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Interesting new airfields with 88 batteries near the HQ in the new Beta map.  Will they eventually be slaved to the center 88 that is currently functional as a manned gun?

Both patch and med terrain auto downloaded properly at the max rate of my broadband (5 Mbps).

Sound: Got loop tick in engine sound.  Zero on Advanced volume (checked for Air Raid Siren) isn't zero on my system; I can still hear it (this was on enemy field while near the maproom).  On my system the new sound works better: Miles gives me problems with very coarse volume settings, ie quantized.  This was smoother.

Graphics: Don't think this is necessarily a problem limited to patch 84, but on my system I have problems with tree LOD ranging.  Example: Med terrain, from ridge to SE of V36 some trees on the field, including those near the maproom, will disappear under max zoom and reappear unzoomed.  It's even weirder: from tank view look away from field, go to non-zoom, look back, trees there, zoom in, they disappear.  Look away, zoom in, look back, the trees show.  This may be some weird memory limit for my XP system.  Many patches ago I remember trees very nicely and unobtrusively fading in as I approach rendering distance.  Now I often notice areas of trees popping into view instantly even though trees at longer range are already rendering.

For some reason hard crashes are back on my system with this patch and Med terrain.  Three times crashed to black screen and reboot; once it hung and I had to use CTRL-ALT-DEL to kill alpha.
