In cockpit seeing what the player is seeing while flying Ingame or the fancy camera angles and effects?

A mixture of both is always best.

For entertainment value, you should be all over the place. The better the directors can make a so-so battle look spectacular!

For training I like the in cockpit follow the views, as well as out of cockpit "trailing". Heck I prefer the ahf so I check out ALL the views.

In terms of watching them I like a mix of both. I've never gotten very good at getting consistent results with the film viewer so when making them, for the moment anyway, I'm stuck in the cockpit. I'll keep messing with it.

They both have their places. The fancy crap to market AH3 and swap the arenas with noob-targets, squad play, Vtards, etc.

For skill sets I prefer the cockpit view, and/or views that show actual ACM techniques.

Use Fraps with TrackIR from cockpit.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

Hey save. Can you get 1080p 60fps like that?

I can only get 720 60fps with my MSI Gforce 780 (overclocked) and an overclocked I5, but with a better video-card, I can see no hindrance to get full HD @ 60fps.

You can record that high? FRAPS always cuts my fps in half. I had to go with a different program.

Haven't used Fraps in a while but IIRC it's a setting to either limit or lock FPS when recording. Or not and just get whatever your card will do.

I remember mine wouldn't do 60 so I locked it at 30 and it did fine with that.

Fraps drops a lot of frames if you use it in game..in the film viewer it isn't as bad for me.

Definitely want to find something I can record my views with, kind of a per peeve with the film viewer it shows default view not what we set in game.
