So many grown men whinning about everything...

And I am just as happy as can be. My game play and overall game experience is at an all time high.

Let the quiter quit. Instead of dealing with the problems and overcoming adversity he whines about it then comes on here i bbs for attention. This is BS...

Wizz, by helping drive players off.. (and especially with this hypocrisy oozing post) you are defining yourself as the consummate idiot of the entire game population.  Please, give it a rest, stop being the village idiot, especially when we need subscribers.

That is because you do everything possible to tailor your overall game experience so you are not opposed.  That is not what some people are here for.

Blinding your opponents constantly is not "inviting the fight".  Neither is constantly moving around to undefended fields.

When I first started playing I was a Bish but soon after I saw that Rooks always had low numbers so I went that way, this was around 2001/2002. Since then all countries have had a turn at being constantly outnumbered, that's why I enjoyed switching countries to help the underdogs (or maybe it was just to get more fights).
If it's getting me down I take a break then come back refreshed, sometimes even with a new name to annoy old buddies for a short period. I don't think I would ever leave for good there are too many people who I enjoy gaming with here.

It's funny how perceptions differ.  Lot's of times it has seemed that Knits and Bish are attacking Rooks and (mostly) leaving each other alone.  Not saying it is always the case.  Maybe different maps or times-of-day create different dynamics.

When Rooks are (seemingly) being ganged, I just find a the best fight available at the time and don't worry about winning the "war".  Less frustration and more fun.

YMMV.

Our squad doubled in size once we started taking HQ down as a stated regular goal. More people have joined our squad, and participate with us than complain about it on this forum. The majority seems silent on this issue. We have gained people and helped them stay playing AH because we teach them how to play, to have fun, and to do other things than furball, hoarde and pick in uber rides. I can think of 3 newbs that as a squad we have playing because we take the time to teach them things. The learning curve is steep on this game. How many people have allegedly left over HQ down vs. the curve being steep?

I understand there are a couple of squad leaders that are how should I say... butthurt, because your job is now harder without a darbar. Once again there is not one shred of evidence that players are leaving the game because of HQ being down. If they are leaving I suspect it is because they are looking for an easier gaming or console type experience anyways. Suck it up and be a leader, 120 mins of HQ time is only 10 guys making less than 3 runs. Worst case that is what 15 mins? If we do it when there are only 15 people on the other side on, maybe we want to take a metric crap-ton of bases like we did last night. Thus causing two sides to gang up on the weak one, IT"S A 3 WAY WAR 2/3 SIDES LOSE THE MAP. I have been both Night and Rook, when I was a Night for a while we would go Rook because they always seemed outnumbered. To hear a Bish cry like this lets me know our tactics are working. Bish are organized and home of the mega hoarde, some guys on that side I have NEVER been in a dogfight with. They just pick me form capped positions while in the mega hoarde, so what I think it is fun to take off from a capped base.

Vriacu on the other hand you only seem to be the leader of leaders with no followers. Good luck with that buddy.

Yes this game needs more grumpy old men! I have been saying that since 2000, thank god you do the passive aggressive possessive been here since 1995, right there in the signature line so we know. Now my next question is: Are you an active player in the MA? If so I am amazed, and welcome to chase the tail! 'Cuz this argument is going to go round and round... probably forever. Also, do you plan on leaving because the HQ goes down for a couple of hours a week? If yes, will it really just be a hollow bluff to get Skuzzy to yield to your lazy game play style? You know "because the customer is always right" (rarely).
