i.e. somebody who optimizes their flying style to gain the largest possible number of "points" which give credit towards flying a super-plane.

I just wanted to be the first to say it  .

If I vulch do I still get points?  And would vulches be considered when labelling someone as a Point-potato?  And is a Point-potato the same as a Score-potato?  And can I just call lazs a simple potato regardless of which plane he is flying and how he flies it?

I think it needs pointing out that there is a difference between the act of suppressing, and the act of vulching.  By the way I define it, suppressing would be the tactical denial of use of a runway/s of an opposition's airfield when intending to capture said airfield.
Vulching would be just hanging out over a field to pick off newbies as they try to take off.
One being dispicable, one not.

Heya Verm!  Nice to hear from you bud.  I hear MOL has quite the reputation around these parts.    Hope to see ya up soon!

Wmutt, I should probably clarify my reply a bit.  Would hate to have people misunderstand me on this.

You see, in another life, in another sim, in another arena, Hooly, Lazs, myself and many other great people are members of the BK's.
About a year ago we were two seperate squads, the Blue Knights and the One Eyed Jacks.  We banded together on Roger Wilco frequently and one night we happened to find ourselves <cough> capping a field together.  One poor soul continued try to take off the capped field and we "supressed" him on numerous occasions.  The next day there was a rather pointed post on a UBB stating that in no uncertain terms we (The BK's and OEJ) were nothing but a bunch of damn bullies.

That day our squads became part of a loose allience known as the DVB's (Damn Vulching Bullies).  To this day, we do our best to uphold the honor bestowed upon us, hence my post above and the bit of heckling aimed at my fellow squaddie and DVB, Lazs.

Hope this clears things up a bit as I'd hate to get a bad reputation as an honest pilot.
