Believing in conspiracies is a part of how the brain works. Everyone does it to some extent. Its part of how we tries to make the world more understandable. (And quite a bit to protect our egos). Just look at this game, its full of "XX is a spy", "the others have a secret alliance". "our auto ack is much less accurate than theirs" etc etc. We use it to save ourselves from the inconvenient truth: That we just sux.
