Aces High has A LOT of RIDES.
« on: February 27, 2016, 06:11:45 PM »
I would like to thank Hitech for showing me how to adjust the (roll, pitch, yaw) of objects set down on a terrain.

I've always wondered what it would look like to line up all of our rides on an airfield like a Warbirds display at an airshow. Until you set them all out, you really cannot appreciate the shear number of rides Hitech and his team have created for us over the last 15 years.

This is an aerial shot above the runway of all the WW2 rides and behind them the GVs from the Beta8 terrain editor.

USA Warbirds.

UK Warbirds.

Russia and Finland Warbirds.

German and Italian Warbirds.

Japanese Warbirds.

GV Rides.

Anyway to make bigger pictures? I'm on a 40 inch monitor and I can't tell what's in most of these.

This ride display is an homage to Hitech. After the last 18 months alpha testing for him, I've come to appreciate the amount of work the man has gone through to keep this virtual universe running. Creating this terrain as a test of the alpha, then beta terrain editor, placing all of those ride objects down on it, caused me to get up close and personal with just about every single object in the game.

Many customers will never have a clue which is to be expected. Hitech's bills paid and his personal aircraft are a nice reward for his hard work. But, I think we forget in our ongoing demands that he continue to create things to keep us entertained, just how unique he is, and how fortunate we are.

It's awesome to see them all lined up in one single image.  :aok

BTW would it take much effort for you to fill a screen size area with them, rows and columns by country, possibly named? With less grass and more aluminum. Something like an identification poster: "Bustr's Warbirds in Color"...

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Same here, some of us just cant see them. This is what I still get when Buster post MOST of his pictures. Some believe it or not are full screen. Weird.
