Yes, I did see that today when playing with pennants.  I tried to retrieve a friendly pennant from the boonies, but it dropped it automatically because I wasn't driving exactly towards the nearest friendly base (couldn't because of trees in the way).  It showed up many many miles away to the NW on the beach.

I then retrieved it with a Storch (man that was a long climb back up the hillside).  The nearest friendly base was the wrong one, but I went there since it won't allow you to go in other directions.  When I landed and did a .dp,  I can't remember what it said, but as I took off again I still had the pennant, so I flew to the base the pennant belonged to.  I tried to air drop it, but it just picked it up again.  Finally I air dropped it from a higher altitude and it stuck on the proper base.  From this I cannot see how you would ever drop a pennant from a vehicle since it just immediately picks it back up again.

And yes, it does appear I am obsessive compulsive: gotta have each pennant in it's proper place.  ;)

To capture a field you keep the pennant and then exit flight on a exit point. Also  once you drop it, it gives you time to get clear of the pennant.

Adding to my previous post: The engine start sound started a couple of seconds after the propeller had started spinning.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

I noticed in the hanger, the loadout for a Jeep says 2 V-supplies, but for the M3 and SdKfz251, it simply says Vehicle Supplies, no number.

The M3 carries 8 and the SdKfz251 carries 4 vehicle supplies. I was also surprised at the difference in the number of supplies on board.
Easy in-game again.

For the SDKf, putting the base supplies behind the vehicle supplies might let more players know it has the load option. Until Easycor mentioned it just now, I never knew the thing could carry vehicle supplies. Never saw the tiny box.

In the current version of Aces High, if you lose your turret in a GV you can move your vehicle forward slowly, enter .ef  and get a ditch.
No kill is awarded. Allot of animosity is created by players that do this. Can this be changed for Aces High 3 so that a kill is awarded?

Wouldn't that be like landing with your guns damaged, and when you towered from the runway, you see a death message?

Re: Beta 9/10 Released: Issues/Bug Reporting on FilmViewer

Film viewer does not show rudder animation.

50 Cal guns have odd ending "sip" sound (tested F4U 1A in external and chase view).

No way to grab graphic detail settings.  This was the greatest perk with AH2 viewer.  One can record in any detail or gamma setting, then adjust settings to desired detail and gamma for Film Viewer to use, just before quit from game.  This produced much better quality video.  Current beta version seems to be stuck at default or whatever.  :cry

Also, as FLS' sweet WWI screen shots are able to catch the awesome pilot animation, it would be great to include that animation in film viewer.  :x
