Always wondered why perks instead of a token system. At some point when you shoot down, bomb, GV main gun enough enemies and land those kills, you get a menu showing what your tokens can buy.

This is kept in an inventory you can pull up as your current earned options along with your current tokens to spend. Fuel and ordinance is used and then gone. Aircraft and vehicles are kept until they get destroyed. The lead computing gunsights would disappear that way. The K14 won't work in our furballs because the G loads would keep the reticle off the edges of the reflector plate. Pickers and HOers would become near perfect shots.
