Your top 3 favorite planes to shoot down

A year ago, the c-hawg would be #1, with the pony close behind. There's just something about shooting down the most common planes in the arena. They are common because they are esier to fly. Most pilots fly them to get a slight advantage. Killing them while they are flying with their advantage is big fun to me.

Anyone else? Which planes do you enjoy killing the most?

1. The one that just blew a B&Z pass and lingered a hair too long or went vertical a bit too hard.

2. The one that just nailed a squaddie.

3. The one that has been loitering over a T&B furball and "cherry-picking" but finally got a hair too low and slow.

 

Actually, depending on what I'm flying, I like taking out the "historical" adversaries. That "immersion" thing.

But it's not something that keeps my soul writhing in angst about the game when a target like that is not handy.

Actually, the F4U-1C and chutes! Both still give me a gleam when they're in my gun sight. Although the N1k2 certainly is beomcing a joy to kill as I've had enough of it killing me. I'm zeroing in on them first no matter what now.

Spit V kills the first two evertime.I love that feeling as you start to gain on them in a turn fight and when they realize it too late and try to break for it..AHHHhhh..Taka Taka Taka!!My taste for blood is balanced by the killing of a C47,where I feel for the poor soul for flying so low and slow for the sake of his country,and quickly put him out of his hopeless situation..<Comfessions of a Spit Dweeb>

The N1K is the only plane I get some satisfaction from killing.  All other kills leave me with a "I'm an opportunist spit dweeb..."-feeling.  I felt even worse when I was an opportunist N1K-dweeb.  That dweeby thing seems to follow me out of the cockpit...

1.  Zekes!  Nothing like a sweet BnZ pass in a Hellcat on a poor Zeke.  

2.  La7's.  Muhahaha, love killing this thing.

3.  N1k2's... they are a challenge so it's allways good to swat 'em.

Oh yeah.. .and any perk plane is extra fun to kill.

In no particular order:  Spits, Nikis, and La7's.
Why?  
Each will outturn, outclimb, outrun, and outdive my Jug if I get locked up in a fight with them.  Besting them at their own game makes me smile ear to ear when I decide to fight their game and not mine.
If I am in the "historical" mood, I love getting it on against 109's and 190's, no matter the model.   But then again, one of the first group always comes in and gets involved...........

1) They started out with an altitude advantage
2) They interrupted a good 1v1 fight
3) Trailing 3 or 4, scissoring like crazy, and holding off in time for help to arrive, kill one or two of the bastiges, and then laughing about it while I’m on the reloading pad
