Edit: Please observe and report directly to HTC. Period.

Sorry HTC and Co., last paragraph was my personal take, not gospel.

Glad you understood my intent.  :salute

That last HTC post puts this whole thread in perspective. HTC is a class act. While you can't please everyone, they do one heck of a job trying. They understand where you are coming from. If you don't approach it properly then they have to let you know.

It's a multi-generational gathering of players.  Please reopen the DA when Dedalos and Bighorn show up.

I'm just wondering why sincere criticism of AH is so censored? It seems to me that you would want to know what the sincere complaints of the game are. Just wondering why you would want to lock and ignore them? Has censorship ever worked well in the past? I don't think so. I have spoken to many in the game who say they don't bother with the message board for just that reason. A wide variety of voices give a better pitcher of what is really going on. Embrace the dark side.

I have not played in quite some time, maybe I will come back. Who knows. There has been criticism on this board and HTC and done different things in the past to try and help the squeaky wheels. Problems is everytime one thing is changed then another group of squeaky wheels emerge. Never going to keep everyone happy. Never will.

You should come back.

And, you should play in the scenario that will be running Saturdays in June at 3 pm Eastern (in Special Events II arena).

We *need* more pilots in it.  We *want* more pilots in it.  It will be great fun, full of action, and will be GLORIOUS!

If you want to fly as part of a group all four frames, send me a message, and I'll get you set up.  If you can only make some of the frames or aren't sure which ones, please feel free to show up by 3 pm on game day as a "walkon" -- you will get to fly.

Bf 109G-6's, FW 190A-5's, FW 190F-8's, Ju 88's vs. Yak-7b's, Yak-9T's, La-5's, Il-2's, and Tu-2's on the Eastern Front in 1943.

Also, for any pilots who run out of their three lives, we have unlimited Panzers and T-34's available for a rousing tank battle near Kursk.

Contribute to the beating heart and soul of Aces High -- come fly with us!  :aok

I think when you look at other discussion groups and BBS on the web you can see the descent into bitter acrimonious negativity that can become too much part of the culture of a particular Board. It is their game and their BBS. They have the right to steer it towards the course the want. That said players do make complaints and many if not most are let to be aired freely.

When done with class and not with the intent of starting a turd flinging fest.

Those that complain about being policed are usually the ones needing to be.

I think I may have has 2 post that were Skuzzyfied. Both time I knew I was getting close but not how close. It might not just be your post alone either.... it sometimes can be the general direction that you may be helping the thread to evolve.

Or as the Romans said, "In Vino Veritas"...

That being said, if you want people to say only what you want to hear, waterboarding is both effective, and exciting!
