Why is criticism of AH so censored on this message board?

I'm just wondering why sincere criticism of AH is so censored? It seems to me that you would want to know what the sincere complaints of the game are. Just wondering why you would want to lock and ignore them? Has censorship ever worked well in the past? I don't think so. I have spoken to many in the game who say they don't bother with the message board for just that reason. A wide variety of voices give a better pitcher of what is really going on. Embrace the dark side.

It's called....HITech can do as he wishes as it is his game and this board is his property. You can criticize him/or game where ever you wish, however he does not have to tolerate it and I don't blame him. Behold the power of freewill ......you have freewill to criticize game.......and he has the free will to squish it as he pleases. Read the terms of game....anything that is counterproductive to game play and the game environment will not be tolerated.

I think the censorship is a necessary evil, because of peoples anonymity behind a computer, and the tendancy for mean spiritedness when not accountable for their comments. also its HTC's sandbox and he makes the rules!

  Sincere criticism of the game is one thing.  Criticism and/or abuse of the staff is something else entirely. 

  I have seen far, far too many posts that essentially tell Hitech that he's running his company wrong.  Even when Hitech comes on and says, "We tried that.  It didn't work."  The response is usually, "You're wrong!  It would be better that way."  So the thread gets locked because he doesn't need that drivel clogging up the board.

Over the years I have noticed it has never been about questions over specifics if they were respectful, honest or innocent. It is the lack of respect often in the delivery and for the answers given or not given.

Now you will never know if you would have gotten a better answer from Hitech, unless your goal was to start a troll hiding in it picking a fight with Hitech. Kind of a self answering post you started here with your own actions, aint it......
