Hmm... Can't seem to find a link to Fugi's big zip file o' profiles. Hopefully someone will be along with a link to some.
In any case, I personally don't agree with turning off roll, but the rest of Randy's post is dead on. In my opinion though if you're going to use roll, ONLY use a 1:1 curve on it. Anything else will feel really weird.
If you don't like the way it's working fiddle with it. It is the single most personal setting in the game as far as I'm concerned. If you're not happy with how it's moving, it will continue to bug you until you fix it, at least that's what I've found.
I use steep curves, don't recall ever fiddling with any of the settings from default. Any changes I've made I've done with the curves.
Also, there's a setting in Aces High called TrackIR relative move or something along those lines. If you look backwards in game and move your head side to side and it moves the wrong way, toggle that setting and it will.
