Maybe he should refrain from comparisons to other weapons he has never fired.  :bhead

Lol. Firing a weapon made him sick....and gave him "a temporary form of PTSD".

Next, let him try the non-scary Mosen Nagant with the metal buttplate, or a non-scary single shot 12 gauge.

It would be fun to poke him in the shoulder the next day.

Factcheck.me says

"The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don't know what you're doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable."

Now thats just funny right there.  The name Gersh Kuntzman comes to mind.  :rofl

"Even in semi-automatic mode, it is very simple to squeeze off two dozen rounds before you even know what has happened."

Yep thats Bull

"If illegally modified to fully automatic mode, it doesn’t take any imagination to see dozens of bodies falling in front of your barrel."

I dont think this guy should be allowed to fire a gun.  To many video games and news stories in his mind.

“There should be expanded background checks — extending into your family, friends and associates,” he said. “And there should be a mental health screening"

yup. correct.

"Gersh Kuntzman works with gun ghop owner Frank Stelmach on how to handle the AR-15."

dood, get your face off that bazooka.   :rofl

First off it lives and makes it's living writing in ny. That alone should tell you something. Secondly it is a prime example of a nebbish (look it up, I did not make up the term). This is the kind of "product" ineffectual childrearing can be responsible for. It is deserving only of pity and contempt. Pity as it continues to waste oxygen, and contempt for the parents that wasted effort on conceiving and raising that waste of protoplasm.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
