Ran into some technical difficulties last week (went to flash mobo BIOS to latest Gigabyte F22 BIOS to gain Broadwell-E support.....BIOS was not prime time and ended up messing up my OS startup sequencing and disc couldn't perform repair so I ended up flashing BIOS back to stable Gigabyte F20 BIOS then do a format and clean install of Win 7 HP 64 SP1).........

Then in the middle of this I had to leave to go to Ft. Worth, TX. to attend funeral for my oldest brother (he was 72 yrs old, died of natural causes) so just now getting back today to finish this clean install & setup of OS then downloading the latest full Beta 28\29 install to get back in the saddle.........

Be back this evening (5-6 hr download while also downloading all OS updates.............much fun) once all is completed.

0cx... application error is fixed.   WTG!

Frame rates are noticeably better (about 20%) in DX11 than DX9 with graphics set to "default".

There is a "haze" in the high clouds in DX11 that does not appear in DX9 (default graphic setting).

Very encouraging for the "frame rate challenged"...   :aok

Seems to be an issue from the start. I had gotten an M4/75 with rockets stuck in a tree I thought but was able to free myself trying to turn but was slow to respond it seemed. Been trying to be very careful avoiding trees.
I always wanted to fight an impossible battle against incredible odds.

Are you guys running into this on the road rings around the tank town object where trees are growing really close to, or out of the road?

Sometimes you can wiggle free; sometimes you just can't and I haven't been able to figure out what the difference is. If you spawn on the concrete pad at a small VH base (the one where you have to drive down a ramp and turn through the buildings), if you hit the building wall at an angle, you can get stuck there. I've also gotten a Tiger II stuck on a curb in a town, lol.

Ships sailing through land

In some places in CraterMA, such as off of V60, it appears that when setting a CV course, the "segment touches land" is not being properly checked. You can put the course right at the shore, which means that the side cruisers (?) sail through the land.

Tested the ending up stuck in a lake in the crater bug on CrateMA just after the latest arena reset.

Upped a storch at a large airfield in the hanger. Tried to taxi out of the rectangular fighter hanger which killed me. Ended up floating in the air over a lake in the caldera with access to my clip board. There was no "Quit" option available to end the game. Trying to move to another field got an invalid option error. Had to ctrl\alt\del for task manager.

Shoot the wings off the K61, then when you shoot where the wings used to be, you still get hit sprites. Tested with other fighters and only the Ki61 suffers this so far.

Pressing the windows key for the desktop locks the game requiring ctrl-alt-del.

Same bug here.  Not to be a work around, but just in case it helps to locate the fix:

After you have encountered the alt cntrl del, lock up.... this is what I have experienced.

Press alt tab and you will regain control of the mouse and game is back to where you were with lock up, only now the windows mouse is active.

Press alt tab a second time and it will then show you the windows or tray where you can quit AHbeta, or switch back to the game.

Alt Tab seems to work in the usual way after that (switching back and forth between windows and AHbeta software.

Just a note,

I finally downloaded 8 patches worth of game to see where it was at.

Fly around friendly strats checking things out, and decided to bail.

I was stuck over the water in what appeared to be a chute?  Couldnt exit flight, had to hard close the game.

Any chance you can make mouse commander mode a choice, sort of like auto takeoff and things like that?

It is really annoying to pull up your clipboard and have that silly stuff kick in automatically.  It is easier to fly a plane in free mouse mode than try to point a dot somewhere, anyways.

Looks good though!  I wish the reflections also would be seperate to turn off from the inside of plane to the outside (terrain, plane exterior, etc.).

I don't care for how the reflections look in the cockpit glass, but they look great on the outside of the plane, and off the water.

Lazerr,

Not knowing how many subscribers like yourself fly with mouse only, the odds are a larger number of casual tourists will be firing up the game, mouse only to look around. That is a good marketing decision to be inviting to a large casual audience. I still wonder if game pads show up as two joysticks or a funny mouse....... :O

For your case though, a check box to disable mouse commander for flight mode at all times would be a reasonable request.
