To be fair, it gives people an excuse to go outside, walk around, and get exercise rather than lay around on the couch playing video games and pushing a button.

lol true.  People messing with their phones and oblivious to their surroundings have always irritated me, but it seems like its 10x worse in the last few days.  Almost got a couple dudes last night with my pickup.  I was turning onto my street and both of them just walked right out in front of me.  Never thought twice about stepping into the street.  It's not like my pickup is hard to hear.  They only looked up when my tires squealed and they looked genuinely surprised to see me.  Almost like they thought I was driving on the sidewalk.  :bhead

Almost got one yesterday. Kid on a dead run down a flight of stairs ran right into traffic in front of me. Looking down at his phone. Jammed on the brakes. Kid looks at me like I'm crazy. Smh

That's the good part of it. It's like geocaching without having to know anything about map coordinates and such. However, every geocache has a set location and a description about how difficult it is to achieve. And there's laws and rules where people aren't allowed to hide their property such as traffic signs etc. I don't know how well the Pokemon GO people have studied their maps. If it's possible to find a Pokemon in the middle of a 6 lane freeway, we're going to see some more Darwin Award nominees.

So I was wondering

If I put this on my phone and drive around town and hit one of these invisible Pokémon with the truck, will it show up on the map as laying down/dead?

It's already starting, saw last night where a guy ran into a tree while he was driving and playing Pokemon Go. It just amazes me at how dumb some people are especially when video games are involved. I was reading an story last night about how people are trespassing on the Radford Munition Plant property trying to collect Charizwhatever out of the missile that stands near the gate.

It won't be long until people start breaking into other peoples homes and start breaking their pots to try and collect rubies for Zelda Go.
