Because we don't have to import our food, we actually have enough land to grow it here. From pineapples to caribou. The americans invented modern agriculture, we produce so much we don't know what to do with it all. Sometimes we just pay farmers to stop making it.

Your biggest export after war products is food products.

You even sold food to the Chinese in the 1970's.

China still imports US food products even though they are the enemy :old:

China cannot produce enough food due to lack of suitable areas.
