Fixed my issues by putting an SSD in with a Windows 10 build and installing it in that.

AHIII is more of a substantial upgrade than I expected. It's really, really good.

The game is gorgeous even with default settings, I for one really enjoy the sounds (especially when planes explode 100' in front of me), and (it may be placebo) but I feel like my 50's have more oomph (if it's placebo don't ruin it, darn it! It also might just be that I can't see most hit sprites so I think a few 50's are shredding something when really it is just the same).

It was great to see 90 people on when I showed up this evening.  WTG HTC

Yeah get in it at night instead of II guys. The action is a lot of 1 on 1 and usually focused on 1 or 2 bases, pure dog fight. If you want in on good fights get into III now.
