Hello, how can I shut off the white "all" text?

I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

You can by remove it from your text bar tab settings.  Unfortunately, that also removes salutes.

HTC, please nix the all channel.  200 is fine for the people that want that, but what of the people that don't?

It would be nice to see "salutes" without seeing "cheater".  Especially, for new players.

Later, when newbies learn to love the game they can discover 200 -- for better and for worse.    :devil

right click on All tab then edit settings then uncheck the first box (channels 1 and 200)

+1 I dislike the all channel and hate that when I turn it off I miss salutes

A Salute channel maybe?  Open the "Salute" channel and the guy you last killed or were killed by is autopopulated with a Salute.   Just a thought....

Just separate 1 and 200 so that they each have their own check box.  Done.

Why the change anyways?
