wHY MAP CHANGE

With 9 hours on crater map, nits have 100% of there fields map changed.

Maybe a change to the terrains and the HOST happened and the existing terrain had to be cycled out for one with the update.

No one is saying that.  I'm just saying that something is happening that we have not been informed of.  It would be nice if HTC provided the player base  an insight into the reasoning of these types of happenings.

In the distant past there was some amount of communicating these things to the players that I remember. And the response was guaranteed forum kvetching while telling Hitech how he should do it and when he should do it and what he should do with it...... :O

I guess he didn't ask us to vote an oversight panel to review these things and tell Hitech when he can do maintenance and software updates. Or when Skuzzy can trip over the power cords. Gosh darned, we pay Hitech a montly fee, we should be in control...... :furious

And I can guess what the response will be... :ahand

Usually Skuzzy, or someone with HTC, comes into the arena and states that the arena will be going down in about 15 mins. Sometimes the map is reset, sometimes not.

Pretty sure HTC doesn't have to inform the player base of every single minuscule change. I don't know of any other game companies that inform their player base of every single aspect of change and some don't even tell you if there will be a upcoming change.

I'd say your being a bit anal.

no, we were curious of why the map reset in the middle of the night.

Maybe reporting a bug, maybe we are all not as wise as you.

God forbid a simple question on the BBS without a smartass response.

This isn't the first time it has happened either. It happened a couple weeks ago as well. When it was reported here Hitech posted here.

I do not even have a clue what your talking about or trying to say, So the answer to your questions is I have no idea why something that I don't know what it was happened.

When it happened to me.... a couple weeks ago. No body had the requirements met to win the map, the map had been up for only 2 or 3 days  (well under the 7 day limit), and the the  "map will reset in 5 minutes" message came up. It did the count down and the map reset.

No system message saying anyone "won the war", just a reset.
