I have returned to AH after many years due to moving to an area with no internet option to play on. Now that Verizon has given us DSL I have now returned.
As the title states when I had to quit the ENY was not in effect. My ride of choice is the P51D so the ENY hits often on my ride.
After MUCH reading I understand why the current system was implemented. What I don’t seem to understand is why this system takes away the use of the planes and not the load out of the planes affected. Reasoning that as numbers of players increase the strain on the supply system is also increased. That translating into yes you can have your plane of choice but the ammo load out will be 50% and lower fuel load. This would change with the imbalance of players same as the current system. This would give the current players their planes of choice but with a lower effectiveness. In the real world the equipment is still there but the supplies may not be. This would also give the lower numbered side more reason to try hitting Strats to lower these percentages even more.
This would put the choice on the pilot: Well slick you want that Pony you can have it. But you only get 50 rounds per gun and your 45, but if that’s what you want go ahead and take her up.
Just my thoughts but at my age what do I know.
