Is your father Earl1937 on this website sir?  Did you use his account to post this?

If this is true and Earl is your father, we would very much like to have you join us and play.  Earl has been here for many years and has regaled us with some absolutely wonderful stories in the past.  I am so sorry to hear that his health is failing and he is no longer able to play.  I loved seeing the stories he posted here.  He's a fine man and I for one will miss him very very much.  Please tell him I am thinking of him.

Mike,

I have flown with your father for many years and I was wondering why I haven't seen him lately.  Please tell him that he is missed and in my thoughts and prayers.  We would love to see you continue his legacy and feel free to ask for any help you may need.  Again, I am really saddened by your news and I have many fond memories of flying with your father.

Best Regards,

one-eye jac    :salute

FYI to all.  You can click on the players name "Earl1937" and then read all of his posts when choosing "view posts".  I just did it again for Earl.  Damn, what a great guy!

Thanks for responding one-eye, take care of Earl's son please.

ET has a special place in my AH heart ever since he took me under his wing on my first bomber mission.  This saddens me beyond what words I could share.

He always has a kind word for you during a mission no matter if you miss the bomb target or not.  He would always say," Don't worry.  You will get it next time."

Mike I will help you in game anyway I can.

Hug your Dad for me.  If I was there, I would.
