Chin up! I had heart surgery years ago. Was the best time of my life! Got to stay home from work and not give a shizzle about things in general for months, slept late, watched Jerry Springer regular like, Played Air Warrior a lot, went to the bar maybe a week after I got out, ate cheap take out a lot from Fast Eddies "unfortunately this fine establishment closed in recent years". Love late night hospital food BTW! Night shift chicks at the hospital were cool. The only down side was reflating my partially collapsed lungs and getting the drain tube pulled from my wretched chest, but all the pros made it worthwhile in the end. Now over the top lad!  :)

with such an inspirational motivating speech all the best Molsman!

All the best goombah.

Prayers and a donation otw. Do what your told and you'll be fine.

A few months after and you will probably be able to have a drink or 2. My doc allows me to partake a few here and there but no freaking smoking!!!!!!!!!! You had an issue and continued to smoke? Shame on you! Remember, you have a family that loves you more than Philip/Morris does!

Get well soon and keep us posted.

Thank you all for the Wishes I will be living at St Lukes Hospital for the next 2 weeks. They found that my original stent is 100% blocked and I have 4 more arteries blocked so I am scheduled for Open Heart Surgery early next week. So when I come out of all this my ticker should be good to go. Open heart surgery at age of 42 not good no more booze and smoking for me well maybe an occasional drink

Larry/Molsman

Do what you need to do sir, Get well soon!  :pray  :salute

Mols, weren't you on a Jerry Springer episode some years back?  I recollect something about a first cousin and a trailer park.

Hey guys, just talked to Larry. Putting a good face on it for sure. Can't say I'd be so easy going if I were going thru what he is right now. That said if you Go over and check out his Facebook page (Karen Larry Drake)  Or his Twitter @Ahmolsman He's set up a Go Fund me account to help offset some of the costs he's gonna incur being out of work for 3 mos. I've also put it on my Twitter @GreatdaysBailey.  Let me  say he's one of the hardest working guys I know. Works a FT and  PT job as a paramedic helping people that are hurt or injured everyday, and maybe we as a community could reach out now and give him a hand. Lets let him worry about getting better, and if anyone can help easy his worries about missing some time at work it would be greatly appreciated. Ive gone thru and read all the replies in this thread....you are a hell of a bunch of guys, and we're all lucky to be a part of this community :aok

Ive posted the direct link here  https://www.gofundme.com/emergency-funds-and-monthly-bills   Skuzzy not sure if this is ok, if not let me know

T-12 hrs And yes this is one hell of a group we have here in the community. And 1eyeson I think ya have me mixed up with Shawk hehehehehe  :devil I been playing the game on and off for 20 yrs I have at least 40 more left In me. Wife and I spoke long and hard about the link and I will loose income from both part time gigs I work besides my full time gig but our short term stinks like everywhere else we only get a fraction of our salary.

I will check in when I feel better and my Wife Karen will be doing updates on our Facebook page for the people on it and maybe someone can transfer the updates here for the ones not on the book of face

Til then  Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers

Molsman/ Larry will be in the Oclub for a while

Larry, I just heard about this. First of all, I'm so glad you're still here with us. The good news is you're going to be great and we'll see you back in the air next week with new hardware and better than ever. Beer will be on me next time I'm up your way.
Keep us posted my friend.
