Granted it included 5 jeeps, a panzer, and a Bf110...but it looked cool to land

I remember this one massive fight where our port was right next to an enemy base. Everytime the CV went down it would just respawn right there and the fight would go on and on and on.

Flying the F4U-4... I had at least 5 sorties in a row of 10+ kills (18 in one of them), all in less than an hour.

I could have rearmed each sortie, but you know how it goes when a CV is actively being bombarded... imagine if I did though.

Most landed I ever pulled was 12 in an A6M5b, but I don't use rearms.  That is such an outlier from my next highest that I can only say I was 1) lucky and 2) flying far above my normal skill level, particularly in terms of shooting accuracy.  Next highest for me is only 8, which I did once each in the Mosquito Mk VI, P-38L, Typhoon Mk Ib and N1K2-J.

17 is well believable to me to someone using an Me262 who, unlike me, can actually shoot things with it.
